Holy Yatra to the Abode of Lord Shiva -13

On the Shores of Manasarovar Lake - Chiu Gompa

After a wonderful and nice first darshan of the Lord and an equally nice bath in the Holy Manasarovar we travelled along and saw Rakshas Tal and reached Zaidi where Chiu Gompa is situated on a hillock for the night stay.

Beauty of South face during sun set

A information board

As we had some time and it was sunset the whole environment was golden and we visited Chiu Gompa and enjoyed the beauty of Manasarovar. These types of notice boards are ubiquitous in the Manasarovar and Kailash parikrama route. It gives in detail the parikrama route and also has the emergency contact no also for any help.

 Chiu Gompa

During His sojourn in Tibet Padma Sambava has stayed here for one week. During that time he has overcome many evil forces and so a Sandalwood statue of Padmasambavaa is instlled in Chiu Gompa.

The beauty of sunset

The Sky, the clouds, the mountain, the lake earth and all it was golden.

On a near full moon day on the shores of Manasarovar Lake

Due to the landslide and subsequent trek there was a delay of one day. So we were on the next day after full moon day but the beauty was the same as on afull moon day. The sky was clear and there were millions of stars and Manasarovar shone in the rays of moon.

                                                                                     The  Holy yatra continues . . . . . . . . .
