Second Day's Parikrama - 2
Compared to the ascent to Dolma the trek in the valley is not tedious but tiresome because of this the 6 Km long trek seems to stretch longer and longer. The yatris walk slowly to reach Zhuthul phuk camp.

After darshan of Mother Parvati at Dolma pass and the emerald Gauri Kund the bathing ghat of Mother we started our descent from the windy pass. The descent is steep and with lot of boulders so one has to be very much careful. Walking stick will be of great help in this stretch. Luckily this time there was no slippery snow in this descent.

As it is not safe to use pony in this stretch normally the pony handlers take their ponies for grazing after the tough ascent to Dolma have their breakfast and join the yatris after the descent. This time we noticed a lot of improvement in the behaviour of pony handlers.They were speaking in Hindi and greater understanding was there. They use smart cell phones to make calls and to listen to music.

All the seven reached Zhutulphuk camp safely and shared a room along with some other group of yatris and all of us took the much needed rest.
