On the banks of Holy Manasarovar Lake

Because of proper acclimatization  there was no proble for anybody in completion of the holy Kailash Parikrama. All of them completed the parikrama successfully and they stayed on the banks of Manasarovar for two nights.  They were also could not visit Astapath.

Yagna on the shores of Manasarovar

They had the holy baath in the freezing waters of Manasarovar and   also performed the yagna as a thanks giving gesture for the wonderful darshan and a successful yatra they had.

Beauty of Manasarovar at dawn

They were also blessed with the sight of celestials taking bath in the form of   stars in the Manasarovar and were very much happy that they were  blessed with this rare phenomenon.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Yatra to be concluded ...........

Holy Yatra to the Abode of Lord Shiva -13

On the Shores of Manasarovar Lake - Chiu Gompa

After a wonderful and nice first darshan of the Lord and an equally nice bath in the Holy Manasarovar we travelled along and saw Rakshas Tal and reached Zaidi where Chiu Gompa is situated on a hillock for the night stay.

Beauty of South face during sun set

A information board

As we had some time and it was sunset the whole environment was golden and we visited Chiu Gompa and enjoyed the beauty of Manasarovar. These types of notice boards are ubiquitous in the Manasarovar and Kailash parikrama route. It gives in detail the parikrama route and also has the emergency contact no also for any help.

 Chiu Gompa

During His sojourn in Tibet Padma Sambava has stayed here for one week. During that time he has overcome many evil forces and so a Sandalwood statue of Padmasambavaa is instlled in Chiu Gompa.

On a near full moon day on the shores of Manasarovar Lake

Due to the landslide and subsequent trek there was a delay of one day. So we were on the next day after full moon day but the beauty was the same as on afull moon day. The sky was clear and there were millions of stars and Manasarovar shone in the rays of moon.

                                                                                     The  Holy yatra continues . . . . . . . . .

Holy Yatra to the Abode of Lord Shiva -12

Holy Bath in Manasarovar

Gowri Shankar Darshan

The bus driver stopped the vehicle at a nice place where the water was crystal clear just at the feet of the Gurla Mandata peaks. The sherpas readied the shelter for dress changing and we all had the holy dip in Lake Manasarovar. One of the duties of a Kaialsh yatri is the holy dip in this lake and by the grace of Shivasakthi we could complete the same. The water was crystal clear at that place and the weather was also sunny and so we had a nice leisurely bath in Manasarovar.

Getting ready for the Holy bath

Offerings to the Lord

As we were taking bath cloud cover hid the Lord, we prayed to the Lord by chanting His hymns and sounded the conch, by His grace the cloud cover opened up as if a door was opened and we had the full darshan of the Lord and offered camphor lighting to Him.
