A small stone hill and the mighty mountain
The popular belief is that by praying and piling up stones and making some structure out of that on the shores of Holy Manasarovar or Rakshas Tal brings good luck, and the prayer is answered. So usually devotees pile up stone in some different fashions. We can see lot of small structures dotted on the shores of both these lakes. Here the structure is rather big resembling a hill. May be many yatri's would have worked together build such a big structure, because most of the time the yatri's are always on the run , they don't stop for sometime and enjoy the full beauty.
